Crankshaft runout measured at Bearing 4 and 8, with Bearing 1 and 7 on "V" blocks = max 0.03 mm
Machining roughness in bearing journals = 2, in oil seal journal = 2 - 6 microns
Radius r for all journals = r max 2 mm

NOTE:
After grinding, round oil passages off to 0.5 r, bevel sharp edges to 0.2 - 0.5 r. Subject crankshaft to Tenifer treatment - 120 minutes at 570 deg C; quench in warm (40 deg C) water. Following the Tenifer treatment, polish all bearing journals and thrust surface A; test crankshaft for cracks. Maximum unbalance in crankshaft = 10 cmg.

Reconditioning d4 and d6 Oil Seal Journals

If journal is excessively scored, recondition (grind)
