Cylinder Dimensions

Biral Cylinders	Grey Cast Cylinders
A = Tolerance group for cylinder height
B = Tolerance group for cylinder diameter (see table)
C = Manufacturer's identification

Cylinders D1 = Measuring point for wear and ovality:	Measured 2-3 mm below the upper return point of the upper piston ring. The cylinder can be considered worn to the limit when the dimension at this point exceeds the installation dimension by 0.1 mm. Ovality is determined by measuring the bore across lines a and b. Dimension a should not differ from dimension b by more than 0.04 mm.
D2 = Measuring point for ovality	Measured at the height of the cylinder base gasket. This point is especially important for determining ovality, although not valid for determining cylinder wear.
Pistons D = Measuring point for wear:	The measuring oint is to be determined from the table in all cases. Maximum wear: not to exceed 0.1 mm (of installation dim.)
